I bought my Zupapa Rebounder a couple of months ago. I used to teach an hour-long rebounding class. It was a lot of fun.
I choreographed an aerobic routine for my class to follow with me. The music gave us all a little pep, and we got a great cardio workout.
Product: Zupapa Rebounder
Score from 1-10: 9
The rebounder came in a well-packaged box. I knew putting it together would be a little hard, so I got my husband to help me. Stretching the bungee cords was not easy. I don’t think I could have put it together without my husband’s help. I have arthritis in my hands. But thankfully, we put it together in about 15 minutes.
Back when I taught rebounding, the rebounders had metal springs instead of the bungee cords. The metal springs are not near as bouncy as the bungee cords. The bungee cords allow me to work at high intensity without the hard impact on my joints.
The rebounder is known to increase lymphatic drainage, which means fat loss. It uses my body weight and inertia to give me a great cardio workout, without hurting my joints.
There is no noise when I bounce on the rebounder. I stand it on its side for storage in between uses.
Since it had been so long since I had used a rebounder, I put on YouTube and followed along with a rebounding instructor. The YouTube videos are mostly of very basic moves and not as fun as when I was teaching. So, I made up my own choreography again, and I do 30 minutes 3 times a week.
Some will say that just 10 minutes of rebounding equals an hour of jogging or 30 minutes of bicycling. I do not believe that is true. I will say that I get a more intense workout than I would if I were jogging. But 10 minutes of rebounding does NOT equal an hour of jogging.
Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. It still looks brand new. No wear and tear at all.
I recommend the Zupapa Rebounder.
